A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat .
A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.
Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"
The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way." What he had written was......... "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."
Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?
Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?
Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.
Invite others towards good with wisdom. Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

assalamualikum.... ermmmm about drama..... i very tired but i'm happy. i don't care about tired because what i do for me and all my friend.
actually, this week i'm very happy because i got new friend. we always discuss about life.. firstly about islam.. they are always give advise to me,, how to make your life peace and how to got islam.. you know who? my friend that i mean is YADIM..... before this i'm contact with JAKIM and ILIM only but now i have new friend. ooohhhhh i'm forgot one my new friend again, ADNINTC... okkkk finish about my new friend..........
aaaaaaaaaa i'm very worried about my plant but i'm very lazy to see my plant... i very thankful to ALLAH because give water for my plant...........

WEEK 7
Assalamualaikum everyone,
This week is the week 7, oh my good so we have 2 week more to do a practice for our drama. I'm very nervous right now because on 10th of September we have a drama preview and the next 13th of September is semi-final so we just have a short time to do a practice.
On Tuesday I have joint a drama workshop, it so enjoy and fun and I know a little bit about how to give an expression for some character but it still hard to me to give expression for my character.
On Wednesday, we have a drama practice and I have tried to give expression for my character and I got a little bit confident after I joint the workshop. But I have to back early because I have to go to "Pusat Kesihatan" for inject tetanus.
I hope I will do my very best for this drama. Okey thats all.Thank you. Bye.........

Aloha...to all of your guys and also Sir.Fakhzan.Alright,1st of all I want to apologised to all of us because I did not attend our meeting with Mr.Azman at Tuesday night.That is because I felt unhealthy on that night.Hope your guys are willing to forgive me.(^o^).
Okay,I also want to talk about our drama workshop that was conducted by 6 students from SMK.KIDURONG.The main points that I learnt from them are about SELF CONFIDENT.They were very confident during acted in front of us.And the most special things about them were,they can act in spontaneous time.But what about me??Hmm,it's hard for me to answer it.During that day,I learnt a lot of things regarding drama.It's include what is the techniques that we should do before begin our drama,why we should felt our character,about improvising and many more.I wonder if I have the same ability like them.Actually,I felt so sad because I did not do very well during the "WHO AM I ??" activity.I wish if we can back to that time.HMMM.
Overall, the activity was interesting,fun and I enjoyed it.
Oh ya,,I am unhappy now because the pipe at our hostel was damaged by a "MONSTER".Hmm,I'm thinking now..,when does the workers will repair it.They are so slow.Upps,..sorry.
Last but not least,our 2nd drama practice is better than the 1st time.They begun to work hard about it.But during our drama practice,I cried because I'm afraid I can't do very well for our drama.But as Mr.Fakhzan said,LIFE IS NO MERCY.Right??ok.That's all.Bye..bye.

Most likely what other people say that this worl is getting faster and faster, every second are count to make sure all in their track. life is no mercy, who late consider as late and who fast he or she consider as a lucky person. Ok enought of that fact.
Now I want to say about calyx team productiion, the bad weeks already past and seems that this team already to secrefice their time to practice. That the good job. all people now busy to practice their part or try to feel their own cheracter, and some crew busy to complete their own task. anyway, this team getting back to show their comitment and team work is better day by day. good job team, I'm proud with you all.

Tuesday was drama workshop... it was very fun and we learned a lot of technique....

on Wednesday, we had our drama practice....
Eventhough Syafiq and Ady couldn't be there, Hanif ( stage director) was there to control the situation. he and Amalina handle the practice very well...
huhhuhuu... Nelson starting to come out of his shell.... hahahha... HE acted really good as a drunk-man.... Awang also did a very good job... thanks to the drama workshop....

Yesterday, Intan and I finally finished the final script and the charecters description....

hye....this 7th week......i got many things to do with... i need to re-check the script so that its not taking so hard for my friends to remember it. Alhamdulillah..we have finished our full practise. and all of them is getting well, in intonation and movement skills. but some of them cant bring their characters well. wake up SYAFIQ!!!!! you as an antagonist character need to work hard. as we know last tuesday we had attend the drama workshop. (I'm not involved but i manage to help them in registeration and serving the food so i got the experience.so happy!.)our fasilitators were student from SMK but i respect them because of their talent. they were very talented especially WATSON and CHRISTINE... very energetic.. i hope that all of us can be like that.act in confidence. okay guys.... today Ady , Ros and me myself will settle our t-shirt problem..haha..it looks like now we girls are the HEROES!!!!!!!!!! hahaha....daaa

Hello everyone....
This week is the 7th week for our drama...huhu...2weeks more to get ready for the preview..we really need to sacrifice our time...
Lets talk about our activities for this week...Last Tuesday, we had a drama workshop at DSB...It's really a great and unforgettable moment and experience for me..It's not easy to have the workshop goes smoothly...but, with our effort...we managed to make the workshop succeed..I really miss the moment with all the facillitators..they're really great..and very kind and fun..during the workshop, we had the "who am I" & "improvise" session...I gained confidence and braveness during this two sessions..I really acted like a crazy person..hahaha!
I also love the meditation session..relaxing....hehe...Thanks to all of them...Wan,Christine,Gene,Watson,Jeremiah,BJ and Ah Leng..seeing them acting with their creativities and "powerful"..made my spirit burning..hehe...
On Wednesday, we had our meeting and drama practice at PI..group 1 were there too..but nevermind..as long as we have a place to practice...right my dear friends??hehehe....I had practiced on my character (J.LO)...It's a heavy character though..I had to scream..yelling..crying..sad faces..haha...I hope I can do better..hehe...Dilla had improved and I hope she can do better..it's really funny to act with her..hehe..and syaffiq..he should practice to be more angry in his character..sayed also had improved..no more shy..haha...and alwis,don'y cry..we will help you okay..we know you can do it...chayo!chayo!!
Actually, last Tuesday night, we had a small discussion at the KSR..we expressed our feeling to each other..every single unsatisfied feeling were spoke..some of them cried..I know it's hard when a group had an inner problems..Thank God we settled it all on that night..We apologised with each other..and I should thank abang Azuan for his advices..my dear CALYX members...I hope what is over, is over..Lets close the old book, and open a new book..okay??honestly, I love all of you and I hope we will work together hand in hand..never let our team fall again...

Hi there..... this week its have many event its happen! One of that is about bengkel activities.... I know the day its so happening! although I'm not there cause my money its POKAI! so, I,m go to Medan to press it. But what I hear them talk about what happen, I can imagine how much enjoying level that day. I'm felt so loss cause I'm not there..... I want enjoy it! but it happened... Arrrgh... this my fault cause Medan I can go there anytime. stop that! I don't want think about again!
23 august 2008 where its the date we have sukaneka dkhp program, that is tomorrow! hah1 I'm so tired want to go tomorrow! cause we just finish the last subject examination last night. My tension is finish! but I have to go tomorrow sukaneka! maybe there I'm got more release tension. Then! we have one job again that is we must be take are signature all of senior dkhp sem 3,4,5. Huh! so bored! I'm not yet settle this job cause I'm so lazy after my examination tension its over! but I will try settle cause I know why senior do this program, them just want tio know closely with all junior sem 1. I understand..... we also can do the same action next sem.
Oh i appeared forgot to write about what happen the training drama latest wednesday...... actualy, I'm is late to start drama scene one cauce I'm is in scene one, so I want to say sorry to my team. I'm have the work at HEP. THat why I'm late. The day also where one of my freind, Alwisthay, cry.... First I dont know she is crying. Then I see again, why? alwis close her eye with her hand, and when we go back to kolej I ask her, why you cry? she said she can't acting very well! then, I advise her, all of we its can't acting so well. we must do slowly... don't push your self! I just want give her the spirit for actual event coming soon.

wah! we already in the 7th week.. anyway, as we know, the drama festival will be in the 11th week.. 1 week earlier.. this is because some of the student had book the ticket on 27th of September - the actual date for the drama festival.. well guys, i'm really really sorry because i'm the trouble-maker.. i'm the one who book the ticket on 27th of September.. really sorry.. oh ya! last Tuesday (19th of august 2008), we had our drama workshop.. really interesting and marvellous!! our facilitator had done it well and all of us really enjoy it!! thanks Mr. Fakhzan @ Tan Sri..=) hope we'll have that kind of workshop again.. what we've done in that workshop?? well, what we've done are introducing ourselves @ ice breaking or known as 'who am i??', improvisation, vocal training, and last but not least, meditation.. this week, we've lots of work need to be done such as practice scene by scene, book the t-shirt for our production team, and many more.. hopefully, all of us have time to do all that.. well guys, chaiyok!! chaiyok!! go CALYX Production!! that's all for this time.. bye!

Urmm,,I have nothing to say actually but let me think first..Haaaaa,about the drama workshop which is held on last tuesday.Oo yeah,"very enjoyable","great", and "best".That are what some of my friends said about the drama workshop.They learnt many new things such as about improvisation and also"who am I?" and they told me those activities are really enjoy but beneficial as it can raise our self confidence to confront with many kind of people.Huhuhuh I felt quite jealous because I cannot take part in the workshop too but it's okay..Haa,Awang,who is one of our team members has changed after joining the workshop.Great,right?He becomes a little bit more talkative and mix with all, not like before this.
Alright,now,I want to talk about our team.Drama practices are always be done from time to time and all members try their best to perform well.Yeah,,we are so busy with many assignments and also other works but we will do as best as we can so that we can give a great performance soon.So,Chaiyok2 my beloved friends.

week to act
Last tuesday, ten of our member have been take part in drama workshop. Those of the member who take part are those who are main cast. The member that do not have been chose to take part also can go and see the activity of the drama workshop. Some of the activity in drama workshop are "who am I" which is about how to introduce ourselves in front of others. We also have been teaching to do improvisation which we act spontaneously without speaking, only using body movement. Rehearsal for our drama have been started. After joining the drama workshop, I can see the improvement of acting technique from our cast. Yesterday, I went to ict to take permission borrow some of props that we need...today I'm going to take the props at HEP that we have booking from the previous week..That's all Ican say for today..

What happen on this week????On Tuesday , I take part in drama workshop.It's the best experience.At the same time, I've got lots of lessons.I can use it in my character.The fasilitators very nice person.They still young than us but they can teach us like their friends.When I'm take part in this workshop ,I'll be more confident and not stress too much....A lots of thanks to them and don't forget to Mr.Fakhzan..
About our drama , we still make more practice until the final...Tonight , we also make a practice but I can't go to the practice....This is because on the evening I go to the Kuala Tatau.I take part in Bakti Siswa programme...So,to all my friend in group 2 , I really sorry and hope you all can forgive me...I know I always make you all not satisfied with me...But I'm really sorry...

It Getting Closer....
assalamualaikum....on week 7,a lot of of event are happend rapidly...but still we can handle it well...
on the last tuesday night...we are having a meeting with our senior..azwan omar, the one who will arrange our stage arrangment on our 'big day' soon....
he also give some advise to our group member....
he said coorperation is really important in a organization....
so we have to improve our coorperation and our commitment to being among the great...
and....next on the same week,10 person of our group were attended the meeting with our brothers and sisters which are...we can say... are very good in acting....
a lot of the technique are giving by the them..
one of it sucs as.... how to cover our mistake when it going live....
next....tomorrow night we are going to meet sir fakhzan....
he want to see our acting...
he want to see us act without seing the skrip....
so each of us have to memorises our lines before tomorrow night...

today is my sad day..because i have to leave upm for my creadit co-curiculum..i m going to tatau..my bakti siswa program..far from my heart...i actually want to finish my work on costume not forget i want to join dkhp dinner...but i have to join this program in order to get 40% marks for my result....I got no choice...
just to inform you guys...i'll start doing pamphlet next week...because now my team and i had struggle to find suitable accessories for our cast...don't worry..i have make sure everything is under control even in in tatau.. so far.. now everything is okay now..

emmm....firstly about our drama...
on last tuesday.....mr. fakhzan had arrange a drama bbi workshop to all actor and actress who are involve in the drama's festival...
sadly,i'm not lucky to be one of the participant in this workshop cause i'm not a main character and i don't have a time to go there because i need to finished up my slide show which is i need to present it on the next day.....although i'm not going there but my friend, ina had already told me what actually happen on that day and i'm very jealousing.....
as everyone already know....this week our college have organise 'Karnival Sukan Universiti Putra Malaysia' and there are two categories: indoor and outdoor games...
For information,i'm the 'lucky' person to take part in outdoor games which is 'LOMPAT KIJANG'...eventhough i never know that game...to all calyx members, pleased give me a support tomorrow....hope i get the medal...hehe...

costumes....costumes....which one is suitable for our main character?
how am i going to decide the costume for J.Lo; our main character that handle by Addreana? which one is suitable for her...
i have searching for a few costumes for her....but still don't know which one to decide for her...
and...for dilla...a pregnant girl....the size is not the problem...but its about a choice to make it real....
recently our group costume have discussed about the cloths and accessory for the actor and actress and we also have our proper practicing timetable....hopefully i can attend it although i have been busy with my final year project and proposal presentation that will be coming this saturday...

Hmm.... Truly to say.... I felt stressed sometimes and seem likely want to give up to do something.... But, i din't do that because i do not want to "lost" before the war started... Being alone, study and living in a new environment, stay far away with family, lost my contact with family ( I lost my handphone =( ), i more realisedand understanding that family is very very improtant to me.... A place for me to get support and love... I really miss my family....

How long you do not say that with your family? When is the last time you said it out to your perents? Cherish the chance when you back home for Raya or the moment you calling back to your parents, say loudly and express how much is your love to them. They surely happy with it...

Hurry up.....!! We are getting closure to the date...
Hye boys and girls...so far our drama practice is getting started and I hope it will be getting smoother....for my crew members—costumes and make up...we all will having a meeting on that as soon as possible...I thought we should have more practice on acting because we are too late...it was about a month to go, right? So, I think we should be more on practice at least 3 times a week....
Recently we have practiced the sketch for acting at Pusat Islam to see the voice projection where all the members are there to support and comment about the actors/actress voice. After that, we have discussed about the time table according to the availability of everyone...because we need more practice...we are too late guys...

MY LUCKY DAY......
salam......... we had our first practice...... I acting as SEAN in this drama as we known SEAN is famous casanova...... I along with two chicks that is Anisah and Mimi....... they have done well but I'm still can't act well because this is the first time I have involved in drama....... BUT I will try my best to be the best actor in this drama although I'm just the supporting actor.......
tomorrow, we will be having a workshop with MR. FAKHZAN's fomer students....... I'm looking forward to meet them......... I think this is a big opportunity for us........ I hope we will keep up the good work..........

What a busy week!!So many things to do...Last week I finally managed to sell my vegetables at the farm...hahaha...Although that evening we will be having our PRT test..I still went to the farm because I'd promised uncle Bol to harvest the vegetables on that Friday..and he bought them..hehe...Yesterday, I joined the netball competition..huh!I didn't expect that I'll get injured on my face...The Goal Shooter for the other team knocked into my face when I was grabbing the ball...WAAARRRGGGHHHH!! I'm now suffering with the pain on my face...ishhh!!& I did fall many times..hahaha...Luckily, I didn't broke my leg as well..Such a great game!
Anyway,
We are in the 6th week of the drama...The time will not wait anymore!!Last week we did our drama practice in front of the PI...It's really great and we enjoyed the practice..We had started on our 1st and 2nd scene followed by 3rd..I can see that Awang had a hard time to express his character..I know he's still shy..Don't worry we'll help you..I enjoyed acting with Hanif and Sayed...haha...they really worked hard in their character..even Nel..I know he's working hard to act with me...hahahaha!!!Umai and Sameerah did well on that practice, but Alwis, I think we should brush her more and more!!
Tommorrow, we will be having a drama workshop with Sir Fakhzan students from SMK Kidurong..Some of the actor and actress are my cousins classmates...hahaha...and yesterday I went to Stella Maris church, I think I saw one of them...haha..He spoke like foreigner and he is TALL...hehe...Alex mentioned about him that's why I know..oyeah!Alex and Edwin are twins, they're my cousins and schoolmates and classmates of the facillitator you'll be meeting yah...hehehe...
And to Tan Sri Fakhzan...haha..no la..kidding...hehe...Thank you for your support to this group...To all CALYX members...we'll do our drama practice more and more and our schedule will be very pack...and I don't want to hear anymore complains..Refer to Fariza about the schedule..okay!!=) Work smartly guys!!
